Team Tanemaki visits tsunami disaster area October 2011
Our trip was GREAT and we’ve come across many thankful and happy kids. With all the trauma still lingering around in this -almost surreal- disaster-area, all actions matter and are being very much appreciated, no matter how big or small.
As all feedback has been so overwhelmingly positive, we are set to continue our efforts to further support the re-development of this area.
Altogether we are pleased to say that “Operation Good Soil” has succeeded. And we already have started planning new projects in collaboration with the city of Higashi-matsushima, Naruse Daycare center and our new tanemaki network in Tokyo. To do all these, we’re aiming for a follow-up visit in the spring of 2012.
